Aviva Baumser has been in the field of Early Childhood Education and Special
Education for over 15 years. Prior to joining Ateres Pesha Preschool, Aviva was a 3K
lead teacher for a year, and a UPK lead teacher at Judi’s Nursery in Kew Gardens Hills
for ten years. She collaborated with fellow staff members on implementing the DOE’s
curriculum, as well as linking Torah and Judaic studies into the students’ academic
career.
Aviva holds a Master’s Degree in Special Education, with a concentration in
Autism Awareness. She is also dual certified to teach Early Childhood Birth-2nd Grade,
as well as Special Education in New York State.
Aviva will be the school’s Educational Director, creating age-appropriate
curriculum for the classes. She will also be responsible for ensuring that all staff
adheres to the city’s academic guidelines for all students. She has enriched each classrooms’ centers with engaging, fun, and academically inclined items to optimize each child’s learning growth. She truly has a passion for helping children reach their
fullest academic potential.
Morah Sefi Glazer has been running Morah Sefi’s Wonderland for the past 10
years. She strives to imbue into the children Simchas HaChayim, Middos Tovos, social skills, and a love for Yiddishkeit. She places a strong emphasis on active communication with the parents, constantly sharing insights and anecdotes from their children’s daytime activities. She makes learning come alive with hands-on projects and dramatic
theater throughout the day. She will be the school’s Chinuch Director and Parent Liaison at Ateres Pesha Preschool.
Hello! My name is Sima Kessler. My passion is for helping children grow in a healthy, fun, and warm environment, where every child feels loved, safe and secure. I have more than a decade of experience working in various Reggio Amelia inspired schools, in home daycares and directing my own preschool for the past 3 years. I have a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and will be earning a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I love working with children and am very excited to bring my many years of experience to work as a 3K teacher with the amazing staff at Ateres Pesha Preschool.
Morah Gaby is a dedicated teacher with a passion for working with children. She has specialized in nurturing the development of 2-year-olds over the past four years. Known for her warm, caring, and energetic approach, she creates a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive. She started her own two-year-old playgroup, which ran successfully for the past two years. Her strong leadership abilities and creative mindset enable her to provide a stimulating and enriching environment for children, helping them thrive and develop to their fullest potential.
Morah Tzipporah Elbaz has her Master’s Degree in General and Special Education in Birth-Grade 2, and is a certified teacher in New York. She has 5 years of teaching experience in Yeshiva Sha’arei Zion, and in Gan Devorah with 3 year-olds in a 3K classroom setting. She loves working with children and can’t wait to learn so many wonderful things
with your precious children this upcoming year.
